The UII Informatics Study Program is committed to educating its students to be professional enabling Information Technology (IT) solutions with personal qualities who are ready to become value-based leaders, entrepreneurs, and lifelong learners. In the first three years of learning, students develop their skills to be qualified as systems analysts, systems designers, and IT solution developers. In the fourth year, students choose one path of study: research, community service, business pioneering, an internship, or studying abroad.

Partnerships with overseas universities have been established to offer dual degree programs with Youngsan University (South Korea), Nanjing Xiaozhuang University (China), and Taylor University (Malaysia); credit transfer with Rajamanggala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Chulalongkorn University (Thailand); and short lectures with Hokkaido Information University (Japan) and Hanyang University (South Korea).

The leading competencies in the Informatics Study Program are informatics theory and intelligent systems; information systems; software engineering; network and computer security; games, graphics and multimedia; and medical informatics. The competencies are focused on the fields of application: Data Science, Enterprise Information Systems, Digital Forensics, and Medical Informatics, each of which is supported by a corresponding study center.

This study program a variety of lab: Basic Programming, Lab. Advanced Programming, Lab. Data and Communication, and Lab. Research, and IT Centrum training center with international expertise certification from Cisco, Oracle, and EC-Council.
